you mean, i can change the dpi from 72 to 300 dpi and for the print is that ok, without loss of quality? i have heard, that you have to set the dpi from beginning, and you can not change the dpi later. maybe this was a wrong information.

In fact, you lose quality only if you change DPI and so, change the project definition (5031 x 1819), because you modify pixels and so, you may lose quality. If you change DPI without affecting the size (I remember there was a padlock to lock or unlock), you won't lose quality. Once again, DPI is just an information to tell your printer to be me more or less precise.
It's a little like FPS in an animation. You can read your animation in 12 FPS or 25 FPS : it won't affect the quality of your images =)
