You could use the touch ring of your Wacom; rotate right > increase size, rotate left > decrease size.

I have this device which I use for fast resizing of my brushes:

I use the outer wheel for fast and rough resizing, it has a has a spring in it so there is some sensory feedback when you turn it.

This, for some reason, is not working for me, are you sure it's working on your machines, guys? Maybe is like Sven indicates is due to update?
For sure, I even showed it on a video :
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=6872&start=15#p61849" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
(The last, with the pen brush).

In my Keyboard configuration, Z = Tools Brush : change Size.

What if you reset your key map ?

Aha, that's a different shortcut. The confusion makes sense. Maybe "Brush: Resize" should probably be deleted, since "Tools Brush: Change Size" does the same thing + more.

I'd still like to be able to increase/decrease brush size with proper shortcuts though.

I did, but the amount of change with the shortcut is not big enough.

I have just tried it on my TVP 10.0.18 and - NO - it doesn't work. Regardless of whatever tool I'm on, when I click Z, all I get is my latest custom tool, which I can resize, and then it's back to the same tool I was on, with same size - nothing changes.
But I don't need it - I use the default keyboard shortcut + and - to increase decrease size - for me it's enough - I can speed up the size change by holding the + or - button, and it will change continuously.

Apologies Elodie,

Sorry, My Bad! I posted in haste without looking carefully in my shortcut list - I've changed key assignments so many times that I can't tell what's default anymore... I've always just carried forward the assignments I started with version 8.x.

Anyway:

shortcut = Brush:Resize to edit brush or tool? WRONG

shortcut = Tools Brush: Change size to edit brush or tool! RIGHT

Sven

Good that I have seen this, it is bit confusing, so I was also on Brush:Resize, now it's fine :) I am looking forward to new working method!!

Hah, my mistake too
This was confusing, I agree that Brush:Resize should be removed. I suppose all the Brush controls could be unified into one set of shortcuts.

you could increase (double, triple, quadrupple etc...) the ammount by putting it in, multiple times in the keyboard config (using CTRL)

you bent welkom.

...and note its possible to combine any of the actions in the configure list under one key,
so its not limited to doubling up actions.
