Well, the French meaning is not so... so extreme... A "parent hen" is a parent who takes care a lot his/her kids and wants to protect them. Sometimes a little too much, but that's not at all a pejorative word, it's the contrary. It describes the person as someone very lovely. =)
There is also the idiom "papa gateau", but this one is not so kind than "papa poule".

Well, it seems that last character (with the broom) has its lines a little bit thicker than the previous ones (girl, old man, fat man, ...)

About the smoke, you have to take a look at the particle FX, if you plan to create it into TVP Animation in a new project/short film.

Yes, you are right. The charlady has a thicker outline than the physiotherapist. It is my fault. It was my first clean up in this project and actually I realized it too late.
When the physiotherapist is interacting with the broom it was very deflecting. But we were able to minimize the outline of the broom with the an effect of tvpap9.
We decided to keep the outline of the charlady because she is a quite clumsy character.
Do you think it is too disturbing?
Actually no non-professional has realized it yet.

About the particle FX I am really exited about. Also the out of peg feature in the new version.
I can't wait testing them. They will enable me working even more independent from other specialists!

Hi Vera, I did it - I got your film

What I liked:
- The action with the first two visitors. I had fun to watch, what the masseur is doing with them.
- The acting of the masseur and the scrubber.
- The sound and music of your film.
- The speaking of the cleaner.

What just half impressed me:
- The acting with the first women. It was not as funny as with the 2 guys before.
- The end of the film. I expected, that the cleaner finds an unexpected solution for her problem with the scrubber.

Now, I've watched the film a second time. The end is OK, it works well. I'ts kind of a softer joke. But at all, I have a feeling of a funny film that starts a little bit stronger then it ends. I think, I would like more the opposite of that. Starting strong and getting stronger.

How did you managed the speaking of the cleaner? It sounds like an east european voice. Is it a genuine language? I don't think so. So, how did you created it? Have you written a kind of an artificial language, or was it an improvisation of your voice actor?

I wish you a good festival tour with that film. I will show it to my children tomorrow.

I probably noticed it because I sent you the brush for the broom, and the broom was probably the "last character" introduced in the story.
Bty, it's less noticeable when the charlady is walking the first time. It's more when she comes back to get her broom.
It's not too much disturbing.

However, I agree with Markus. There is maybe something missing at the end. Hard to explain that feeling.

Maybe you haven't danced Argentinian Tango before. It is the tension in the bodies that makes it exciting.
I think this part of the film could be more appealing to the female audience.

The end is not what we call a frying pan joke. I think it works well as an eastern european, maybe jewish humor.
Part of my family emigrated from Belarus, Lithuania and Poland to Germany.
The language of the charlady is polish.
A good polish friend of mine is swearing like her old granny. Very extensive but still polite and gentle.
The last words for example mean:
Your as good as a fruitless acre!
This is why I chosen Polish as language. It is much more imaginative than German but sounds still charming.
Actually its not about the words but the atmosphere.
But I do look forward to screenings in Poland!
