I've never had the problem either. I've just learned over time not to rub it in.

When I use them, the change happens immediately, no delay. How can that be? I am on an iCore7 - 8 GB RAM. But the PC I had before had no delay either - worked flawlessly, and that was a Pentium 4 (i believe) with ...hold on... 512 MB RAM (sheesh, how things change huh?)... Just curious.
With me it happens with a longer range of frames, using the scroll wheel of the Shuttle Pro. The Shuttle Pro has keyboard shortcuts assigned to it. Goes well for a few seconds and then it stalls, goes slower and becomes less responsive. Perhaps the resolution might cause this delay, because usually I'm working in HD or higher.

I'm on a pretty modern desktop as well. (i7 920, 12Gb ram) I don't have this problem working with Premiere and the Shuttle, so I'm assuming that it's not the Shuttle that's delaying...

Michael, are you talking about the behavior of TVP with the shuttle in general, or only when drawing and animating? I ask, because when I import a clip from Sandra that has been fattened up by multitudes of color layers, a clip can behave stubbornly as well.

But considering that we are discussing improvements in the flipping process of animating line drawings, I never run into a slowdown of movements between several flipping frames.

Paul, I just checked it again using the shortcuts for 'Next Image' an 'Previous Image' on my keyboard (holding them down) and there is no stall or slowdown in responsiveness when I do that. Only when I use the Shuttle with TVP. So the problem could just as well be with the Shuttle, I think...

Drawing and animating give no problem at all. Apart from a little stubbornness every now and then but that's mostly when I have some other application running in the background...

Yeah, that matches my experiences too. I don't really use the shuttle with TVP (it's great with Vegas!) and prefer the Touch Ring on my Wacom 4 tablet. TVp basically has the problem others have brought up here, which is it can't keep up with these external devices. Just the Wacom touch ring seems to be easier to keep in synch with TVP.
