Transform tool problem

Hello tvpaint forum
This is my first post about a problem I have with the new version of tvpaint.
I couldn't find the solution on the forum so I made this account to ask for a possible solution.
I hope you guys can help me out
Since the new update I have a problem with the transform tool.
When I repeat a scale transformation with the enter button it shifts my object to the side. It looks like it uses the centre from the previous scale, instead of scaling from the new center.
Do you guys know if this is a bug or if this is a new setting that can be turned on/off?

Hi and welcome here (even if it's because of a trouble :s)
Can you post some screenshots, so we can have a better idea of your problem ?

Hi Elodie,
Fluffiekom is a student of mine and the issue is partly resolved.
the new "center"option in the transform tool panel erases the center point from the "enter-key memory" (is what i'll call it for lack of the official term)
it causes the shape to jump back to its own midpoint and only leaves the scale and rotation transform settings from the memory, these can then be performed,
and this gives you the result as how the tool used to work.
the new behaviour is that also the center point or mid-point from the transform is stored in the "enter-key"memory
this is actually very useful and it shouldn't change but...
We would like to know if it is possible to make the toolpanel function of reset "Center" active per default?
Because now you need to reset it again for each repeated transform
It would also be good (better?) if you could tick it like you can "drying" in the tool panel for instance. that way you only have to set it once.
this image illustrates the issue:
the second transform uses the center from the first transform as its scale center

+1 .

Hey Elodie,
Thanks for replying so fast.
It's just like Peter says and asks, if there maybe is a way to set "clicking the center button" on default instead of clicking it each time when you scale up / transform something.
Here are some other little illustration I made that maybe could help to make it a bit clearer.

Whoops...
Could someone tell me how I could make image 1 and 3 as small as image 2 in my previous post?
I will edit it right away so it can be seen better.

Actually, the behaviour is mathematically logical. It's hard to explain, especially on a Friday afternoon... (
)
But ok, we took good note of this and we should offer sort of an option.
