Exporting PNG sequence...

Hi, I'm trying to export a 3 min project as a PNG sequence (with no background) but each time I try I get the pin wheel on 1%. The os is saying the application isn't responding but it's still rendering... but by god is it slow. It'll take a few days to render the whole thing, which is way too long. Any suggestions for trouble shooting?

My guess is that this is Apple's fault, since the new OS versions cut back on support of older image formats. PNGs were never the fastest to save in any application, but the waiting times in OS 10.11 are ridiculous.

- Have you tried to save in chunks of maybe 500 frames?

- Have you tied to save as TIFF instead?

(Warning, don't use Apple's Automator for image file type changes. It's slower than snails on valium, and doesn't work reliably, you have to manually check if all images were converted.)

Quite odd.

Would you mind posting a screenshot of your export screen options ?

I'll put up a screen in a few days. Mid work blitz at the moment.
