Hello,
I am not sure if anyone can help with this, I lost all my TVPaint files (computer crashed) and can only search for files by file signature. A data retrieval company brought back over 200,000 to manually go through, so I wondered if anyone has experienced this or knows any combination of letter or numbers that might be displayed in TVPAint files help me shorten my search? I can see lots of .mov or jpeg etc, but just not sure what a TVPaint file might show and I can only order by file size, not date.
Thank you
file signatures
Re: file signatures
When I open a TVP file in a text editor, I see:
- but if this is in all 200k files its not helpful.
Try to search for
- this should only show up in real TVP project files.

Re: file signatures
Painful.
I wish I could help you sort out the salvaged data.
After this experience I hope you and everyone reading of this are routinely backing up your system to a safe drive.
Hard drives are so inexpensive these days.

Thanks, I'll see if that throws up anything! The timing is awful, it's for my graduation film and the show started today!
