Insert empty frames

I've searched the forum to no avail, I was quite sure that somebody had mentioned this before. I vaguely remember Paul writing about his workflow, that he placed keys in time, then with some trickery broke long exposures in half, and again and again.
What I need: I select a range of frames, and I want TVP to add 1 empty frame after each of the existing frames. The +1 exposure doesn't do this, I have to manually delete every other frame then.

Hmmm, I think a script will be necessary to do so.

"Maybe this old thread that featured a MakeTween button? "
... and further down in the same thread Paul posted another tvpx (from Mads called LayerAlign.tvpx) which includes a modified version of the "MakeTween" button that seems to work.
Later today I'll have a look at the old script and see if I can refine it a bit so that each exposure that follows an instance gets converted to a new, blank instance, for the selected frames in a layer???

Sven: Thank you, exactly this was what I need! And it works and my life is happy again.

Markus, here's a variation that might be useful.
In this case, mark a selection of the active layer and click the "make blank heads" button. It will find each head frame and convert the exposure frame that follows it, to a blank head frame.
