Hello everyone,

Here is a script that I created that can generate a spritesheet of your animations.
spritesheet-generator.tvpx
(11 KiB) Downloaded 375 times

Here's a short example:

Click on the button in the panel:
spritesheet_forum_1.PNG
The script will run and generate this spritesheet:
spritesheet_forum_2.PNG
spritesheet_forum_2.PNG (39.96 KiB) Viewed 4451 times
A png file containing the spritesheet will be saved in the folder in which your project is stored: my project is named "bluebird4", so the png file will be named "bluebird4_spritesheet"
Aaaand... that's it :)

As you've noticed, there are 5 images per line. If you have less than 20 frames in your animation, there will be 4 images per line.
If you'd prefer the script to generate only one line, then tell me and I will post another version of the script :)

Cool!
I wonder if a script would work the other way around, from a spritesheet to a (animated) project ? :?:

It would be a lot more complex (and require a bit of user interaction), but I think it should be doable.

(yay, now I have a side-project :D)

I wonder if something could be done with the help of the grid. Import image, adjust grid so it separates all items, then cut along grid lines?

Nothing relevant, but after running the script, I got a new and perfect (generated) project featuring the spritesheet, while the automatic saved picture is empty but at the right size.
