Are dongles still relevant?

Just something I wanted to be hundred percent sure on. If I bought TVPaint today would I just be able to get a code and download it, or would I have to wait for the usb stick/ dongle to be delivered from France and end up on my door?

You must way for the dongle. It usually takes 3 days by FedEx.
The process to get rid of dongles is in progress, hopefully it can arrive soon.

The possibility of removing the dongle is really exciting. If someone purchases the current dongle version, will the dongle-less solution apply to everyone with a TVPaint 11 license? (This will have an impact on a purchase I'm considering) Looking forward to hearing more. The dongle continues to be the only significant drawback to the software.
Thanks for the excellent work.

Yes it is planned to offer a replacement solution to any TVPaint user using a dongle, but it will be done step by step. More information to come soon !
