Apple Macbook Compatible OS

Hi, I'm thinking about getting an Apple Macbook, and I found one that has a Mac OS X 10.11, El Capitan. I was reading the answer to others' questions, and noticed that you told them that it works from OS 10.7 up. But then I saw that it only went up to OS 10.10 and stopped there. I found someone else's question relating to having updated their Macbook to OS 10.11 and TV Paint's dongle wasn't working for it. So, my question was if I got this laptop that has a Mac OS X 10.11, El Capitan, will everything work ok with TV Paint?
Thank you,
Maggie

Yes, TVPaint works fine on a Macbook running OS 10.11 (El Capitan). That is what I'm using now , no problems.
The only problems I've read about are with OS 10.13 High Sierra. At this time I would NOT update to 10.13 High Sierra.
