Framed Ink Marcos Mateu-Mestre
There is such a book. And there are such pictures in it.
Could you tell me. How to create the same brush to draw the same calligraphic drawings?
I would be very grateful. If you share a pallet.
Surely a lot of people thought how to make such a brush.
Help.. :D

Framed Ink is a wonderful book! I believe you could accomplish anything in that book with the Pen brush in TVPaint. The aspect is about 50% (so it looks like a calligraphic nib instead of a circle), and the angle looks like 45 degrees. Turn off anti-aliasing and bind size to pressure. That's it! The rest is skill.

Most of the drawings in the book are in black, white, and middle gray.

i agree with Zoe.

these drawings are brushes so the regular tvpaint penbrush will get you close.

but you could create a custombrush if you want to built in some randomness, make it a bit less sterile.

for instance by having the circle shape of your brush be an animated custombrush and connect that animation to pressure or randomness

I have seen animation drawings done in TVPaint by Uli Meyer that look exactly like Ronald Searle ink line drawings . I asked Uli: "What custom brush settings do you use , Uli ? " Uli replied: "No custom brush settings, I just use the standard TVPaint 5.00 brush ."

And to think Ronald Searle used montblanc golden fountain pens worth 800 Euro a piece... you get that line quality included for free with TVPaint!!! great selling point, team!

Not so simple. I needed to get a narrow start and a narrow end of lines with a blunt end and start.
If someone makes a better result. I will be grateful.
