Future of 32-bit version on Mac

Many of you probably know that Apple has announced that High Sierra is most likely their last OS to support 32-bit applications on Mac.

I am wondering whether TVPaint has a plan for this transition. I have always used Standard because it suits my needs and it's a lot more affordable. Will I eventually be forced to either buy the pro version or else go to Windows or Linux?
On a related note, I've been bumping up against unexpected 32 bit limitations a lot recently as I do scripting as well as a recent run in with xp-pen tablet drivers:

If I do upgrade to the 64 bit version, I would really like it to be because I need its more powerful features - not because my beloved 32-bit is a bit broken...
TVPaint team:
Will 64 bit always remain a pro-only feature even when, inevitably, MacOS users won't have a choice?
Do you plan to resolve some of these undocumented 32-bit issues?
Of course I'm hoping you eventually abandon this as a limitation and find other ways to incentivize buying the pro version
