A small thing , but I think this would improve the behavior of TVPaint and the user experience. This request is about eliminating "extra clicks".
I want to use TVPaint for all my image editing /drawing/painting functions , so I changed the preferences on my Mac so that all .jpg, .png , .tiff , etc. files are set to open in TVPaint by default.
So , if the TVPaint project window is active on the screen and I double-click on an image file it opens the Import window as normal and I can import the image . Good
BUT if TVPaint is in the Dock if I double-click on an image to open it , nothing happens ... first I have to go down to the dock and un-dock TVPaint , then the import window is active and I can finish importing the image into TVPaint.
However, with Photoshop if I have Photoshop docked, but then I click on an image file and choose Open With Photoshop it will automatically un-dock Photoshop to make it an active window on my screen.
I am requesting that TVPaint would behave the same way.
