Hello,
I'd like to request to include a guideline template such as this, for aiding in animating a rotating object.

Since it takes a lot of time to set up manually it would be nice to have this as a preexisting template in the Guide Panel under Support.

Parameters would be the following:

1. An origin for the middle line which serves as the centre for the circle.
2. An adjustable number of lines that divide the circle into 1/8s at minimum, and 1/16s. Any more may be too cumbersome.
3. Lines originating from the intersection of the circle with the lines from (2.) going into the direction of the middle line from (1.)

The circle needs to be scalable and the lines adjust accordingly.
Optionally the angle of the middle line (1.) could be selected via mouse click on the layer to orient the lines to the object that needs animating.

As an addendum to the above. Perhaps the ability for the user to combine lines into a group and save them as templates would be better.
Or does such a feature already exist? I haven't seen that in the guideline panel.

I'd also like to be able to save guideline templates and group guidelines to move them all at once, or just paste a template somewhere else

I agree, the guideline panel would really benefit from an im/export option.

i would recomend modeling it like the FXstack.

Then we have an FX-stack and a Guideline stack. and please then also introduce tabs for both..
so you can have multiple stacks parallel in both the FXstackpanel and the guidelinestack panel
