Hello
I'm currently reverted back to the 32-bit version of TVPaint due to the 'jagged lines' bug in the 64-bit version of TVPaint, though running into a lot of the limitations of the 32-bit version. Furthermore with the discontinuation of Mac's support for 32-bit softwares, the use of 64-bit is becoming necessary.
It's apparently known to the TVPaint team that strokes don't function as they should in the 64-bit Mac version of TVPaint. I've seen threads going back through last year, so is this an issue that is being addressed/fixed?
Thank you!
Christopher

Hi ChristopherC,
so you don't have this Issue on the 32 Bit version? Im on a Mac and having this bug "Drawing random straight lines at beginning of stroke" on both TVPaint 32 and 64 Bits.

yeah, the problem only occurs in the 64 bit version of the program, sadly 32-bit has its limitations, and is soon to be unsupported. I went to an animation studio visit for the course that i'm on recently, and noticed they're also using the 32-bit version of the software on mac for the same reason!

I noticed I was experiencing a similar issue, but I am using 64-bit on a PC. Did a search on the forum and this was the first thread to show.
Have managed a small workaround using the line smoothing feature.
I do not know if it works for you, and it definitely does not work for all tools. However if you're using it for cleanup, this may possibly help. You will just have to play with the settings to see what works for you.
I am using Windows 10
TVP 11.0.8 64 bits
Cintiq Touch Pro 24
