With the help of some friend I found the material in question is called "Baumwolle grundiert mittelgrob", so it's cotton prepared for painting. Some online search dug up this:
- No-25-Baumwolle-grundiert-mittelgrob-ca-160-cm-breit-370g-m-BWGNo25_b_0.JPG (44.12 KiB) Viewed 3009 times
I prepared this and got this version:
- Baumwolle2.tif (209.62 KiB) Viewed 3009 times
Export as DEEP, put into paper folder, restart TVP, use as paper with
hardness 100, size 200%, invert:
- hues.png (89.43 KiB) Viewed 3009 times

Oh please. Didn't you ever take a look into the dropdown file format list in export window? There it is: DEEP, right between CINEON and DPX. That's the format TVP uses for paper structures. It's in the manual.

Another trick for creating your own paper from the current cutbrush...
Create a new button/script, embed the following seven lines:
Code: Select all
tv_ReqString "Enter name for new paper"
PaperName = result
IF PaperName == 0
tv_warn "no name was entered... try again"
EXIT
END
tv_PaperFromBrush PaperName
Clicking your new button: Whatever the contents of your cutbrush, a new paper will be generated and inserted in the paper list (using the name you enter).
