Cannot Separate Scenes in projects

Hi there.

I have imported an audio file into TVP10 and I am using the Project Timeline to storyboard. However the "Separate Scene" button does nothing. This is very annoying because I cannot work without it unless I do the whole storyboard in one clip.

If anyone could help so I wont have to rearrange the entire project,,,

IS the scene empty? I'm not sure from memory if you can split an empty scene, or maybe it was split a part of a scene that doesn't have a any frames at that point?

It has a bunch of frames. Is it because it could be that it is a clip? What is the differentiation between clips and scenes? I thought I could cut like something in premiere by splitting. i heard of people importing audio to make a storyboard, and then splitting a scene into many smaller clips. But I dont seem to be able to do that.

I guess I can add a clip before or after for new stuff I wanna add but then I would have to resize it and because the way TvPaint moves things around every new shot I add would alter the timing of the whole video.

If you go into that clip and then in the clip view do a 'split clip' it does seem to work... at least here it does?
oh wait split clip also works from the project view... but i'm in v11
so maybe its a v10 bug"?

Hi, which version of TVPaint 10 are you currently using?

HI! Tvp10 professional.

Anyway it was my fault. I thought Split Scene and Split Clip were the same thing. They are not. I also did not know "Split Clip" would be on the animator panel instead of the project panel. I may a keyboard shortcut to it so i wont loose it. problem is TVPaint resents its config everytime I open it (I had to manually put the CFG file from my previous computer on the DEAFAULT folder in programs so it loads a set config, but it never saves it). I'll probably make a thread on it.
