Tips For Coloring Image With Open Lines

Hello,

I would like to color an image that has small gaps where lines don't meet in the figure (stylistic choice). Looking for any tips on doing this with a CTG layer.

Would there be a way to draw a "transparent" line? Basically a line that is "there" for the CTG layer to register a complete space, but not seen. Or should I just fill in the lines, color it, and then remove them?

I have attached an example. Using TVPaint 11.5, 64bit, Windows 10.

Thanks in advance!

you can create a second 'hidden layer' on which you draw lines to close the gaps.(i would recommend a distinct contrasting color)
you can switch that layer off (hide it)

and then in the C&T layer set both layers as source.
