"2Pts ellipse mode" makes corners

Thanks for the addition of "2-point ellipse mode".
However, the result is not desirable.
Please check the attached image.

Yes, I noticed that and I will try to fix it as soon as I can but it will only be in the next release (11.5.1).
In the meantime please draw the ellipse from the opposite corner, the ellipses appear to draw smoothly when doing this.

I confirmed that it occurs only when dragging from the lower left to the upper right.

I have not been experiencing the issue with 2 Pts Ellipse tool making corners (so is it only a problem on Windows, maybe Mac does not have this issue ?).
This reminded me about a question I have regarding tools like Ellipse or the B-Spline or Bezier Spline tools: When I use certain drawing tools (brushes or pencils) with the Ellipse mode or B-Spline , I can see a
preview of what the line looks like when I draw the ellipse or line , but with other tools there is no preview of the brush , only a red line showing the size/shape of the ellipse or the spline shape. The line only appears after applying the ellipse or spline by hitting the Enter/Return key. Is there any way to allow for all drawing tools to have this preview mode when using Ellipse or Spline tools ?
It is easier to use Ellipse or Spline drawing mode if we can see the line as above ,
rather than only the red outline as shown in the image below.

Other brushes do not have a preview only a red line.jpg
Yes I have noticed too, though I haven't really dug into it : apparently it's due to a property of the
brushes. Some do allow preview of the line, some don't. I agree that it's inconsistent.

I think I've seen it on every OSes. When you draw the enclosing rectangle from the bottom to the top, there's a chance that you get it.
