choppy lines TVP 11.5.1

Hello,
I recently finally upgraded to TVP 11! Hurray!
The only problem: every line I draw seems to be choppy.
I can't draw a smooth line anymore except when I'm drawing really slowly.
This also appears when using lass tools.
I have a brand new Mac mini with OS Big Sur.
Any suggestions?

Do you have a retina screen ?
Please open the preferences panel and show us the "general" tab.

Hi Xavier,
Thanks for your reply.
I restarted TVPaint and now the lines are better. The lasso tools however stay choppy. But if it stays like this I can work with it.
But of course I don't to have to deal with it every other day. So a longtime solution would be more than welcome
-I'm using Max os Big Sur 11.2.3
-16GB Ram
-Mac mini 2020
-TVP 11.5.1 pro
-Wacom Cintiq 27QHD -newest driver
On my previous older (2018) Mac mini in TVPaint 10.5 I never had this issue.

That's wy I asked you to put a screen capture of your preferences.
And which kind of screen do you use ? is it or is it not a retina screen ?

Sorry! I forgot to post the screen capture from my settings. Here it is.

The answer to the screen I'm using however, I already answered:
Cintiq 27 QHD

Not explicit enough
Anyway, try ticking the "boost line smoothness" to see if there's a difference.

Yes I tried, and it helped with the lines. It's good enough now.
When using other tools, like the filled stroke, it's still choppy. But it's good enough now.
Thanks!
