Interface Color Scheme Topic is solved

Hello, hello,

I was wondering if there are people who made custom Interface>Color schemes, that they would like to to share.

In my opinion the two basic color schemes "Orage" and "Acier" could have been a bit more clear.

However it's tough trying to change some colours, since I can't really tell which color has which function. Besides that I have to restart TVP every time I change a color... And the most interesting part is that you can only pick colours on your screen, but (because the settings where openend) a dark color has filled my screen which makes it impossible to pick the color I want. Or am I missing something here?

There was a long thread years ago where several people shared their custom interface. You can download the .ini files and place them in TVPaint > Contents > color schemes

Then the next time you launch TVPaint and to go Preferences you will see these additional interface color schemes in a list along with the default Orage (dark) and Acier (light) interfaces.

I agree with you, it is tedious to customize the color scheme because it is difficult to pick colors accurately with the dark overlay. (also you must restart TVPaint each time a new color scheme is selected before you can see it.) Maybe there is a better way to do it that I'm unaware of ... perhaps someone with more experience designing a custom interface for TVPaint will chime in with some tips. I have never customized my own color scheme , I just use one of the many that were posted by other users over the years. I change it now and then if I get bored , but most of the time I leave it set to the same one.
