Sorry for creating another thread but I have to quickly export for a job!
No matter what I write or change location when exporting footage, it always reverts back to the same folder. This never happened before. And I can't find a way to change it. Even manually it just goes to the same folder once I hover the mouse out of the text box. I restarted the program and it persists. I don't know what to do...
Cannot change browser location! [TVP10] Topic is solved
Re: Cannot change browser location!
You need to give more technical details about your OS.
I'm on Mac OS, and I think this is more on the OS side since it happens in other software as well.

Re: Cannot change browser location!
I used to have this issue on my Mac, but I think it was solved in the new update. I remember it was a TVPaint problem. Which version of TVP you are using? which OS?

Thanks, we understand that you're in a hurry but indeed, as mentioned by ST and Soom, we need your technical details to figure out what happens.BinaryD00D wrote: ↑04 May 2021, 21:53 Sorry for creating another thread but I have to quickly export for a job!

Re: Cannot change browser location!
Hello! Thank you for the response. I'm on windows 10. Still rocking TVP 10. It is random though, some times it happens sometimes doesn't. One way I found to kinda "solve" this is to switch from "Project" to "Clip" and vice versa multiple times, eventually the location changes. It's weird, Must be a bug...

Re: Cannot change browser location!
Which version of TVPaint 10 ? (look under the Help Menu: About TVPaint)
It may have been a bug that was fixed in one of the many iterations of TVPaint 10. The final update of TVPaint 10 was version 10.5.7 in December 2014. After version 10.5.7 TVPaint 10 was discontinued and replaced by TVPaint 11 in May 2015. Officially TVPaint 10 is no longer supported, but if you are running a TVPaint version that is older than the latest 10.5.7 you could still upgrade to 10.5.7 by logging in to your account on the main TVPaint website and downloading 10.5.7 . That may fix the issue.

Re: Cannot change browser location!
Thank you all for the response! I tried the new version and still was running into similair problems. Perhaps I would have to erase my cache (made from the previous version)?= Anyway that doesn't much matter anymore because I think I found what the problem was.
The folder I was trying to save to had "L.A." in the title. After troubleshooting a little bit I realized this wasnt happening to folders that didn't have punctuation. I am also using Windows' browser rather than TVP's own browser. This two things together I think made it so it screwed up the destination file. I changed the folder name and now it works (removed the punctuation).
Anyway, thank you for the quick support
I wonder if anyone else's problems would've been solved by this?
