Hi,

I just upgraded my tvpaint 11.5 to 11.7, then i notice that my timeline doesn't show the instant number on the timeline. I don't know how to fix it. Can anyone help me ?

Hello, could you post a screenshot of your whole TVPaint window, so I can check if something is missing, please?

I suggest you try resetting your TVPaint's configuration.

First, you can back up all your custom panels and brushes:

Then in the Startup tab of the Preferences (Shift + D), you can enable the Startup panel:


Then relaunch TVPaint. From the Startup panel, you can delete your current configuration so a new one is created.

Then relaunch TVPaint again and see if the issues persist.

unfortunately after trying it, it didn't fixed the issue... it's very annoying not having a feedback on that timeline

I downgrade back to tvpaint 11.5 until that glitch is fixed.
fortunately I still had the 11.5 installer app in my computer.

But im still open to suggestion that help me fix it

I updated it today, and I have same issue, and It occurs
1.when I drag down the timeline to open the sound control tab.
or
2.when I change the size of the timeline.
then all numbers(timecode) are gone.

Also I'm toggling the start frame to '1' with script like 'tv_StartFrame 0' or 'tv_StartFrame 1'
It actually changes actual 'start frame', but the timeline I see, it not updating.
The clock botton that change the timecode form and the changing the startframe manually, both showing the same result.

Those two symptom are not refreshing until I open the window that usually placed on the main tvp wintdow.(like 'export footage' window or 'New project'window)
It is some kind of refreshing on timecode is not working correctly.

Hello ini, thank you for your feedback, this helped us reproduce the bug and maybe pinpoint what is causing it! Thierry and I found something to show to the dev team.

I just updated from TVPaint 11.7.0 (Sep 22) to 11.7.0 (Nov 2) and had the same problem. The environment is MacOS.
