When Project or clip is heavy, the double click on clips to enter into timeline in Project tab is not usable.
I checked some previous version like, 11.5.0,11.5.3 11.7.0,11.7.1
but it only occurs in version after the 11.7.0 Update.

It look like, the first click on the clip is so delayed, so second click is uncounted.

-maybe you have to click to see It's running

In this GIF, there is very long delay on the selectioning the clip,
I'm actually not only double clicking, I'm hitting the clip all the time to enter into the timeline, but I can't

And actually, the swapping the selection on clip, in this gif, was entirely delayed, until I clicked other project to capare with.
With In the new project in the GIF, It's easy to enter.

Version before the 11.7.0 was not had these ploblem, I can enter into the clip or selecting another no matter how it's heavy.
After 11.7.0, I can not only enter the the clip, the swaping selection on clip to another is also tremendously slowed.

Hello ini, we are already aware of this issue and already started working on fixing it.
In the meantime, the delay can be avoided by disabling the camera view on the playback remote.
