When in "display current layer" mode its impossible to change the blendmode!
This is an inconvenience for me.
i have a somewhat chaotic mind and i can at quite random times remember that i have to change the layer blendmode.
Why should i be prevented to do this, only because the layer happens to be in "display current layer" mode?

Blendmodes during 'display current'
... i must say the way tvpaint now behaves, so far has not been satisfying.
When "display current" is active all blendmodes are greyed out. i cannot change the blendmode of any layer ...not even the current layer!
This while for instance the layer switch (which switches the layer visibility on/off) can always be changed for all layers including the current layer. no matter if you are in current layer mode.
this feels a bit clunky, as if tvpaint is broken.
to be clear... i mean only the user experience... the fact that we see the current layer always 'as if' in blendmode: "color" is good and should stay like that.blendmodes in relation to the display current function
