Ever since changing to M1 Monterey, I have this weird bug of Audio glitching when importing MPEG videos. Here are some specs and a video showing the glitched Audio.
Any help is welcome. Thanks

The Software also likes to crash after importing MPEG videos. Might have something to do with the FFmpeg code?

Hello,
We are aware of this, and are trying to find out why this is happening (I can also confirm that we can reproduce this on most of our Macs at the office).
As soon as I have more information I'll share it.
Best,

As a workarouond: could you convert and save the video to something else, like .mp4?
If you only need the audio, you can open the video in Audacity and export as .wav or .aif soundfile.

Hi there,
We believe we have found what is causing the issue.
We'll try to have a working fix as soon as we can, no ETA yet.

Hello slowtiger.
.wav seems to do the trick. I guess that I just have to convert all the shots that I need. Tedious and time consuming, but at least it works. Thank you!
Thank you Thierry for the update.

I have the problem with .wav. existing files that worked before that are embedded have developed clicks too.
I reencoded some as mp3 and they work like that, but there's too many files to do that and re import and retime them.

Hello everyone,
Just to let you know, the developers have found the cause of those audio issues and great progress has been made on the fix. We also found that some parts of the code could be responsible for other bugs regarding audio imports: we are working on rewriting them as well.
