Bug: TVPaint won't close/quit

I'm using macOS Ventura 13.6.6 on an M1 chip iMAC.
I tried closing TVPaint using the shortcut, using the menu bar, using right click on the icon in the dock... It's not closing. This has happened before and every time I have to use "force quit".
Also, I've pleaded for this in the past too, I'm pleading for it again: please bring back the "Save and Quit" option that used to be in the prompt window from when closing the program. It's very useful!
