Hey there how are you?
first, here is my computer details:
CPU - 11th Gen Intel (R) Core (TM) i7 - 11700 @ 2.50GHz
RAM 32 giga
Windows 10
TVP version- 12.0.1 professional
HUION KAMVA 24 PRO 4K

Since I purchased TVPaint 12 there have been many issues and constant crashes of the software
the consistent problem that I have is-
going with my mouse to the file menu- doesn't open the "drawer"
color panel does not appear unless I go to room number 3
when loading a sound track - the software crashes
and also editing clips length and moving them around resulted in a crash
using CTG layers- crashes often

I heard from colleagues that they don't seem to have these issues with their 12 version, so I hope there is a way to make it more stable in my case

Hello yalih,
After discussion with my colleagues, we think that it could come from the Huion tablet.
As we can't test all the tablet on the market, it could occurs some compatibility issues and induce some strange "bugs".
Can you try to see if the issues occurs if your Huion tablet is unplugged ?

If the issues are still there, can you try to reset your configuration ? In some case, if you keep your configuration from TVPaint Animation 11, it could occurs some strange behaviours.

It quits for me too sometimes. For example, when I delete a layer or merge, I'm not sure if it's caused by my huion drawing monitor. I just took out an ugee drawing tablet and the problem is still there. When my 4k monitor is connected, the settings and save menu is not available for me either. Also, it often resizes the interface and does not allow you to manually resize the active windows only if I use a factory preset, which makes it a bit complicated.

Thank you for your answer. I am a month away from a big deadline so I am cautious about resetting the software.
Perhaps I may try on a different computer and will let you know if I have any conclusions.
in the meantime, I am using my tvpaint 11 which still works perfectly

Did your issues occurs if the Multi-Screen Panels is disabled on your TVPaint ?
It could be maybe the reason.
