Disable the Cntrl+drawing function

Post by GerhardHuman »

Hi, is there a way to disable that weird feature where it suddenly runs through the timeline if you accidentally press Cntrl while drawing?
I always have my hand close to the ALT button while I'm drawing for panning etc and every now and then I accidentally press the Cntrl then it runs through the timeline.

I don't know what that function is actually supposed to do but it's very annoying... is there a way to disable it?

Thanks

Preferences: General: disable animated strokes.

It will let you create intuitive animated loops for whatever purpose.
So either to make some abstract loops but you can also use it to animate insects or rain for instance.

example 4 frame gif loop:

Thanks so much Peter! Great.
OK I don't think I'll ever need that enabled... but if one day I want to do that I'll remember where it was :D

Appreciate it
