Collapsing Menus

I would have loved to have more space for the project window, and still keep my panels open. To solve this most of us buy a second monitor or just a bigger primary one. In lower resolutions though (particularly in TabletPCs) this is not much possible.

How about Collapsing/hiding/tabbed menus?

If our panels could hide at the edges of the screen, and slide out upon reaching their area with the cursor, this could keep the project window using most of the available screen space. It might not be very useful for animating as the layers panel is a big panel to smoothly slide in and out. but for drawing, where at least the more lightweight panels could slide in and out, this could be a golden feature!

Agreed

I'm going to second this! It'd be useful to have a toggling "collapse" option.

The TVPaint developpement team discussed a lot about this feature ... It should help TVP Animation to be more intuitive. :)
