SDK board

Post by idragosani »

Hey, I am wondering, since it seems a few of us are interested in plugin development with the SDK, if we should have a separate forum for development discussions.

I got it no problem... but I use gmail and downloaded it onto a Linux machine and unrar'd it there to take a look at it. If you like I can rebundle and send it as a zip file, if Yahoo will allow it.

An SDK board could be popular and helpful. count me in. I requested the SDK the same day I got TVP Pro installed and after setting up the SDK directories I added an entry in FireFox bookmarks linked to the TOC.htm file - pops right up.

Thanks! I see you did some general reorganizing of the boards also.

Did you try compiling anything yet? Setting up the evironment was easy, and I got a plugin compiled pretty quickly (the "flip" one), but can't seem to get TVP to load it. Wonder if it's because the plugin was targeted for Aura and the API has changed?

I built with Eclipse 3.3.1, which uses MinGW underneath (GNU C/C++, native compiler for Windows). I have M$ Visual C++ Express 2008 also, but haven't tried to build with that yet.
