I request that the light table shortcut still worked, even when the layer palette is hidden. Or am I missing something?

I'm not sure about what you want.

If you set a shortcut to "Layer:Light Table Mode", it will toggle the lighttable ON/OFF, for the current layer.
If you want to bring the LightTable Panel up, assign your shortcut to "Interface: Toggle LightTable Panel"

Both functions are available with Layer panel hidden.

Manuel,

Yeah, I have "Layer:Light Table Mode" set to "L" as my shortcut. When I hide my Layer Palette, the Light Table toggle doesn't work. I have to unhide the Layer Palette in order for the Light Table shortcut to work again. It's not supposed to behave this way? My "Interface: Toggle Light Table Panel" shortcut "Shift+L" DOES work when the Layer Panel is hidden. Weird, huh?

All is working fine on my side (PC version).
It is weird. Maybe a bug, I don't know.

I would suggest closing tvpaint and even reset your system.
Then restart tvpaint and reconfigure the shortcut.
If there are still problems, you will have to wait an answer from people more qualified than me.

Thanks for the help anyway. :D I suppose my feature request has become a tech support issue now.
