:?: what is it ? ...2D Animation ? traditional or paperless ?
a short you have made? ... a feature? ... just the trailer ?
how long is it ? its format, weight, ... ?
have you work alone or with a team ? the story is yours, or from someone else ?
how many weeks/months/years do you spend on it ?

... any sample or picture to show us what's about ...?

whoww too many questions !!!

it's a short animation movie i drew by myself ( about 6 minutes )
to close my studies ( in st luc bruxelles ). a few person more gave me some help to finish it well ( mounting, music and soundesign... )
it is hand made animation ( with paper and balck ink ) and finalisation work has been made with tvpaint animation ( you will see smoke effects, and key framer traces )

but you should download it and see it first, and you will have answers !!

You mean you expect people to go through the trouble of making a DVD of your film, without knowing whether it's worth the effort, time and expense!??

Can we get a preview first before we decide to download a 270MB file?

Bravo Jean-Loup, la version finale est impressionnante. Ça confirme que St Luc est une bonne école !

I personally wouldn't mind burning a dvd. My take on it is what's five minutes and a disc compared to many months of hard labour.
Well that and i saw a preview
Unfortunately my dvd burning software says it is not compatible to the presented image file. Bummer.
Any other way of seeing this short?

After reading your info txt, i tried the suggested software for pc. (daemon tools)
I can't get it to play the image file, and i have now adware on my comp. :x
I would not recommend using this free software.
Anyway, i still hope to see your short somehow...

Just saw the teaser trailer. NICE job.

Now I really want to see the rest, but I don't know how many people have the resources to burn their own DVD. The best thing to do would be to still offer the DVD, but to host your video on Youtube (and you could use their Annotations feature to close-caption it). I'm sure it'd be a huge hit!

You don't need to burn a DVD. http://www.videolan.org/ has a free player (windows, mac, linux, and more) Or, you can use the DVD playing software that might already be in your computer. Just download the file, unzip it, mount it (so it looks like another disk is in your computer). Then play it in your player (generally play the video_ts folder from the 'disk').

I mostly liked it. The end seemed to be a little vague, slightly pointless. Mixed feelings about it, I suppose. I did like the style, and the 'camera angles' though. Overall, I think it's a job well done.
