Linking paper to a captured brush
Posted: 20 Dec 2008, 00:20
Hello dear TVP friends,
While studying Malcooning's famous and amazing watercolor brushes, I think I've finally found out how to link a specific paper (and it's settings) to a captured or grabbed brush. I wanted to show you this because I haven't found it in the manuals or on this forum...
This is what I do:
Right click on the brush icon > edit
Then on the first line I enter this command line:
tv_paper Hardness 80 Invert 1 Size 0.670000 Angle 0.000000 OffsetX 0.000000 OffsetY 0.000000 FlipX 0 FlipY 0 Active 1 Name "/Cork"
Where the number after "Hardness" stands for the hardness of the paper.
The number after "Size" stands for the percentage for the size of the paper.
And the name after "Name" stands for the name of the selected paper.
It seems to work, but I'm not missing anything here, am I ? (I just wanted to run this by the experts on this forum and save myself from unwanted side effects of this command line. )
