Magazine publishers are beginning to experiment with new technologies
The first-ever video advertisement will be published in a traditional paper magazine in September.

I was expecting this to happen and if it takes on this should mean another new and attractive venue for animators... I also expect makers of T-shirts to begin using moving pictures on their products -- which would have to be a huge boon for animators. After this the possibilities to plaster life with animated loops will become endless and much loved/hated by the public: animated stickers on refrigerators, car doors and on and on -- but clearly loved by us animators. Time to pay attention in class and not just work to get good grades.
