before th release of 9.5 it was possible to set the start frame of the project from the project menu right under the modify project. now you can only set it from the configuration panel. and you have to open close tvpaint to get there. I would like the set start frame to be part of the modify project

Try with tv_startframe frame

But it only works with the current clip. =)

Ok i forgot about the george command thank you.
but I was talking with some animators yeaterday and they were confused where the startframe had gone so i think you should put it back in a more logical place. for instance in the modify Project panel or under the clip

In fact, a start frame is now really complicated to set with the new project format. Now there are different levels, between the current clip and the current project. Imagine you set a start frame on the second clip : when you are on the first clip => what's happening when playing it ?

It's a complex problem =)
