can i disable this hotkey somehow? i use a lot of Ctrl Zs, and often i will still be holding down Ctrl when my pen touches the tablet, and i will end up a few frames away from my original drawing....

You can disable the stroke animator (Edit => Preferences)

Or you can also learn to stop holding Ctlr when drawing
Moreover, why do you use "Ctrl-Z" instead of "U" ? It's more efficient to hit one button than two

damn! it's actually a feature! thanks man, it was getting so irritating!
'U' is too far away for me...old habits die hard.... and it's nt juz Ctrl Z. Ctrl Alt to rotate is another i use frequently....
