Hello there,
I noticed there has been no thread opened on this topic / so I guess no1 is having this issue/
im running TVP Pro 8.5.4 on Win 7 64bit, and Im noticing, that there is no pressure sensitivity whatsoever while im drawing..how could this be? In Photoshop everything worls perfect, while TVPaint has some problems/ I have to add that before WACOM i was using a Genuis Tablet which also worked perfectly (in Genius terms :P) in TVP. I have the latest Wacom and Video Card drivers - and i turned on Subpixel mode. / no prbs. If any one could help // thanks is advance.

Sometimes TVP needs to be shut down and re-opened after making Wacom settings. Have you tried that?

firstable, (and urgently) download and install the last UPDATE available (v8.6.6 or so),
then come again if the problem's still here, (I bet it won't persist after a fresh and clean update !)

I have this problem far and in between all the time and it has come up on these forums several times. Wacom has very quirky drivers and you have to go back and forth between them when things like this happen. For instance I am on Wacom4 whose latest driver is 615-3a and only 611-3 will work for me without a hitch. How have you mapped your pen in Wacom? To a portion or of the monitor or an entire monitor? Sometimes switching between these two will correct the no pressure sensitivity problem -- and another obvious issue that can be easily overlooked is to make sure that your settings are for TVP. I have seen the tablet switch to All Other without my doing. But I wouldn't be surprised if updating TVP will take care of this.

Thanks for the input.
How do i choose my settings exclusively to TVP? Btw I use my wacom on Tilt Sensitivity Normal, Tip Feel - Firm / I have mapped it to the entire monitor.

So updating TVP didn't help? While TVP is opened go to the Wacom oftware and click on the plus sign far right of the Application layer. Select TVP, OK and you will now find the TVP icon under Applications. Make sure it is highlighted every time you change settings.

No, I meant updating TVP. Your version is pretty old and there are newer ones for free -- this might have a lot to do with your problem -- TvP had changed a lot since 8.5.4
