Flipped Navigator Panel

I don't know if this is currently possible, but I would like to have the ability to preview my drawings horizontally flipped in the Navigator Panel to check construction and proportions without breaking my workflow by flipping the workspace. What do you think?

Why not, it's interesting. =)
But at the moment, you can also set a keyshort to flip x or y.

View > Flip Horizontally
to make a keyboard shortcut(CTRL-K) look here:
Zoom: Flip Horizontally

Peter, Vincent seems to know how to flip the canvas : he would like in fact to flip the navigator, independently of the canvas =)

I find Vincent's idea quite interesting and the more I think about it, the more I like it. I am one of those people whose drawings at times acquire a gradual slant and by the time I become aware of what has happened I have to go back many frames and straighten them out one at a time. If I could constantly keep an aye on a little mirror I think this could even teach me how to keep my drawings erect at all times.

As I'm currently working with a Modbook tablet, a keyboard shortcut is unfortunately irrelevant.

Beter an aye than a nay but where did that come from? It should be an eye for an aye.

Oh ! By the way, I forgot : if you press "M" you can open a second windows view of your project. So, thanks to this, you can have one windows with the flipped view and one window with the normal view =)

I can't quite get this to work. The flip horizontal command flips both windows. Is there a special way to do it?
Now if only the window could float or fit into a sidebar, I'd have the perfect solution.
Thanks for all the work, Elodie.

Same here, both windows flip at the the same time the same way. Elodie, they don't do anything independent of each other except to have different sizes. I think you must be talking about something different.

"Image->Modify->Flip Horizontally" flip pixels in the current layer, it's like an FX.
"View->Flip Horizontally" flip only the current display view ( like the zoom factor or the canvas rotation ).

AHH!! It took me awhile to find the drop down window. For those who might be as dense as I am, RMB on the Rotate View arrow at the bottom of the project panel. That's where you flip the image. So it's been there all along for years.

Thanks!
