Default for B&W converter effect?

Hi everyone

I've been trying the black and white converter effect and have noticed that the deafalts on my machine are 76, 150 and 29 (Red green blue respectivly). Does this mean that TVP is making the blues and reds darker when it converts and the greens lighter? Shouldn't they all be at 128 to not change the values during conversion?

I realize that reds and blues are naturally darker but I'm still not certain about this.

Also, does it make a difference to the settings that what I am converting started out as a tvp document (no importing from elsewhere)?

That's the standard values that are used to convert RGB to luminance with TV signals.

No.

Thanks ematecki. I thought that'd be the case. :)
