using a wide jpg as a pan background

Hi there,
Im new to the forum and the program.
Im having lot's of fun finding out all the possibilities tvpaint has to offer.
as we all..I just need to get known with the different handling and interface.
one specific question I have (at this moment) is this:
Im trying to insert a new image as background in an already existing animation project of a walking figure.
the image I want to insert is wider then the project canvas size (for obviuos pan purposes)
for some reason however whenever i copy paste the image in the project it rezises itself to the image size of the animationproject.
so how do I make this work?
is it at all possible to use images that are larger then the canvas size? I would think so?

You must use the keyframer to do this, and you have to open the background as a second project. TVP allows you to have open at the same time as many projects as you need. See if you can find a thread that describes what you must do next through the quite good search engine above. I've described this several times myself but if you have no luck just come back and ask again.

Ill be able to try this tonight... but I didnt think of trying through keyframer yet. so thanx!!
