Hello everyone! This here is the artwork for the front cover of my soon-to-be-released children's book, The Tree Monkeys.

The book includes 17 illustrations - ALL done with TVPaint and TVPaint alone. I cannot show the 17 until the book is released on August 23, 2011 or it will spoil the surprise for potential customers.

To answer your question ZO, Amazon.com specifies the range between 4-8, but I had a 10 year old tell me she loved it (which made me very happy). Thanks for your input re: the bee. The bee kind of took on a life of his own. He was an afterthought in one of the illustrations, but he seemed to be a hit with the book designer at the publisher, so I ended up inserting him into almost every illustration. My book's official release date is Tuesday, August 23rd, but out of curiosity I checked Amazon.com today. It's already there on their site. And Amazon claim's they have "only 1 left in stock." I like the "used" one at double price, for a book not already officially released ...

Ha! That's a good one! I don't think anyone will buy that one.

Additionally, I was also perplexed when Barnes & Noble had it on their site about a month ago.

Quite frankly, I don't fully understand the import attached to a book's "official release date."
