Wrapping a brush into a shape

Hi guys,
I'm sure this is simple if you know how, but clearly I don't know how! I need to wrap a brush onto a drawing of a curved newspaper page. I presume one would use the wrapping grid tool to do it, but I honestly can't make heads nor tails of this tool so far. Perhaps it's well explained somewhere, but I haven't been able to locate it, and find the explanation in the manual pretty obtuse as well. Can anyone help me out here?
Thanks!

Put your newspaper on one layer, preferrably with an empty frame where your image would be. Put your to-be-distorted image on top layer. Choose FX: Wrapping Grid. Make sure "Preview" is checked. Grab one of the points and drag it. See the effect? Repeat with as many points as you need. You can have as many points in the grid as you like.

"Apply" to finally render image. Save FX in Bin if you need to distort more images in the same fashion.
