Paper Structure does not animate.

Post by Iggi »

I am using an animated brush for my project, but whenever i make a new frame, the paper structure stays the same. So the grain is not animated within the next frame.
How can i change this?

Hello Iggi,

TVPaint Animation does not allow directly to "anim" papers.

So you have two possibilities :
• Change your paper manually for every instance
• Apply your brush manually on each instance WITHOUT any paper. Then, create a new layer with -let's say- 3 instances with the same paper applied (use the flood fill tool, with black color), but with 3 different configuration (play with angle, size etc..). Then, stretch the latest instance (thanks to the tail) and apply a Faux-fixe (if you made 3 instances, the faux-fixe = 3). Then, use a blending mode (Pro version only !), like "Erase" to give moving texture to your animation.
