While I use TV Paint on Both a TabletPC and Cintiq, I'm always in search of a more streamlined way of interacting with the program.
One of the aspects of SketchbooK/Photoshop that I love is how you can change the brush size and hard/soFt Feel quickly.

You can use the shortcut "Z" for the size of the current brush in TVPaint Animation 10.
There is nothing for the blur (hard/soft).

One way to create a multi-step, sharp-to-blurred brush might be to create an animbrush with ten steps going from sharp-edge to blur. Save the animbrush to a button with its Anim action set to None. When drawing, select the button and use the animbrush frame slider to select the frame that has the amount of blur you want.

Of course the Z shortcut key for brush size would still apply to the brush no matter which frame it was on, so you could get a pretty close emulation of the functionality you want.
