Hey
I have a problem I couldn't solve for a time. Is it possible to add frames in all layers with one click? (for example ading 4 empty frames at position frame 16 to all 8 layers)? Or do I still have to click in every layer to do this?
Hope somebody can help me out.
Take care,
Ulmsie

Re: add frames to all layers with one click
Go to top menu Clip>add Exposures.
You can also assign a keyboard shortcut for this under "project>Clip: Add Exposures"

not exactly Mads, if I'm not misunderstanding, she asked for adding "Empty Frames"madsjuul wrote:Go to top menu Clip>add Exposures.

(or new instances), not "Exposures",
so, I think the command Ulmsie needs here is "Clip/ Insert New Instance after Current Image" = shortkey,
or "Clip/ Insert New Instance before Current Image" = [Shift I] shortkey, then enter "4" (the wanted nb), and "OK".
nb : if you want some layer(s) not to be affected, protect it (them) with the "Lock" gadget before.
Welcome Ulmsie !
Re: add frames to all layers with one click
I seem to have the opposite problem. It seems to always add frames to all layers rather than just the one I am on.
I used to always hit the "i" key to add a frame, or a few, and it used to just add on one layer. Now it adds them to all.

maybe (but not sure) the default shortkeys list somehow have been modified with the V10,artfx wrote:I seem to have the opposite problem. It seems to always add frames to all layers rather than just the one I am on.

anyway, you can configure the shortkeys assignements as you wish, for the current layer only, the assignable command is "Layer: Insert Instances ..." or "Layer: Insert Single Image ..." (in the right-side list).

Thx a lot!
Re: add frames to all layers with one click
I figured the default hot keys had been changed. I just never bothered adjusting them as I have been using the defaults for ages. The only changes I ever made were using my own exposure keys for adding, removing and breaking them.
