[SOLVED] 24-bit audio

I noticed, at least under Linux, TVPaint 10 doesn't seem to handle 24-bit WAV files correctly. When loaded, the playback sound is very clipped and distorted. I specifically tested with 24-bit PCM, 44.1 kHz WAV. However, if I convert this file to 16-bit PCM WAV or an MP3, it plays back correctly.

Hey eric, you can get the file I am using here:
http://www.brettwmccoy.com/media/pr.wav" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It was created in Pro Tools on a Mac, but it plays back correctly on all other Linux software I use (mplayer, Ardour, etc). If I re-sample to 16-bit, it plays fine in TVPaint. Is there any kind of transcoding going on internally?

Hey Eric, just wanted to comment that this is working perfectly now! I was able to use a 24-bit, 48000 kHz WAV without any issues. Thanks again.
