I upgraded to Ubuntu 12.10 (Ubuntu Studio, 64-bit) and so far TV Paint 10 works perfectly (didn't even need to re-install the Sentinel drivers).

In case you wanted know...

As far as I remember When I upgraded from 11.04 to 11.10 TVP worked. But when I Made A clean install of 11.10 there was bugs and installation problems.
Has anyone tried a new install of 12.04?

I had the opposite problem... I'd upgraded from 11.04 to 11.10 last year and had problems with TVPaint (it wouldn't start sometimes and would get stuck trying to initialize the webcam, segmentation faults on startup, etc). I wiped the machine did a clean install and TVPaint worked wonderfully after that. This past week, I upgraded Ubuntu Studio 11.10 to 12.04 and TVPaint worked without any issues whatsoever.

Thanks for fixing the subject ;-)

One thing I noticed this past weekend (and who knows, maybe it has always been like this), but there doesn't seem to be TIFF export on Linux. Not a big deal for me, since I usually use PNG for frame rendering, but just in case someone else wants it...
