Hello all

ok here is the problem i encountered

Mac OSX 10.6.8
8GB Ram on a macbook pro connected to a 24'' screen
CPU :Intel Core 2 duo 2.66

around 30GB free empty disk space


test
a) EMPTY PROJECT with TVP9.5 pro start drawing with *yellow-orange sketch color pencil" 1-1 zoom (0) and all is well when zoomed in (250%) no lag at all (no matter how fast i draw with my tablet)
b) EMPTY PROJECT with TVP10.07 (32) pro same thing .................................................1-1 zoom (0) all is well when zoomed in (250%) line lags a lot (2-3 seconds)


has anyone encountered this?

I had this bug once, a long time ago (in June, during Annecy). But now, I can't reproduce it on TVPaint Pro 10.0.9 on my Mac 10.8

Maybe updating your TVPaint could help ?

First of all thank you for your answers!

I did download TVP10.09 today (32bit)
but the issue is not gone..
I tried to record a small screen video to show you what i mean
On the TVP9.5 test shows a bit of lag as well but it is not visibile when i work (probably has to do with the export to qt)
On the TVP10 test the cursor lag is quite obvious.

In order to record the video in a "reasonable" resolution i changed the screen res from 1920x1200 to 1280x800 but the problem persisted
(when i tried to do the same thing with 800x600 the problem was not so harsh .. but i couldnt find my icons and buttons and i went back a few years ago :p)
I will try to do the same test on another machine in the studio (a macpro)

I tried it on an empty tvp file as well as on these illustrations that have a few layers and the problem is exactly the same.

I don't have this problem with TVP 10.0.9 on Win7/64.

When I had this problem, I remember I was still using mac osx 10.7... I'll do some tests on an older mac
